Britney Wehrfritz

Social Impact Leader | Founder of Dell's Pro Bono Programs | Community Engagement | Tech for Good Symposium Co-Chair

“I had the pleasure of collaborating with Bourgogne Kinlaw across multiple programs during her time at Microsoft while I was at Dell. Bourgogne is a kind, thoughtful, and patient partner who brings energy, creativity, and purpose to every initiative. She has a deep passion for supporting nonprofits and driving meaningful social impact in communities.

Bourgogne excels at connecting the dots between ideas, people, and opportunities. She brings a strategic mindset and a gift for storytelling that helps bring big-picture visions to life. Her ability to ideate, collaborate, and learn with curiosity made her an invaluable partner. She’s also a confident public speaker and a thoughtful stakeholder who understands how to navigate and align large-scale tech companies around joint social impact goals.

Working with Bourgogne was always a joy-she’s not only a strong professional but also a genuinely fun and inspiring person to work with. Any team would be lucky to have her.

Jon McKenley

Community Affairs Manager, Microsoft

“I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Bourgogne on several Microsoft initiatives, including the Nonprofit Summit, Nonprofit Tech Accelerator, Educate The City’s Tech in the City program, and more.

While we weren’t on the same team, she’s always felt like a true teammate. She’s a connector, a collaborator, and someone you can count on when you need to get things done across teams. Whether supporting community projects tied to data centers or helping the Black @ Microsoft employee resource group push through roadblocks, Bourgogne consistently shows up and adds value. She’s the kind of person who makes any project better.

Bourgogne’s expertise in communications and project/ program management – combined w/ a resourceful network, insights, and professionalism – make her exceptionally well-suited for any role she chooses to pursue.”

Tunesha Griffith

Sr. Program Manager, Autonomous Systems and Space Research

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Bourgogne for the past four years at Microsoft, and her impact on our team and mission has been nothing short of essential. She is top tier at relationship building, doing an exceptional job managing strategic partnerships while juggling multiple national projects.

As a project manager, she’s been unmatched- keeping the team focused, on task, and moving projects forward, even when things get complex. She’s also a powerhouse when it comes to creating clear, insightful informational resources and reports that showcase both our impact and the strength of our partnerships.

What has always set Bourgogne apart is her willingness to wear multiple hats when needed and her strong belief in the mission of serving our nonprofit communities. That dedication has been showcased in everything she does. She’s been a critical piece of the puzzle in our program’s success, and any team would be lucky to have her leadership and expertise.”

“One word to describe Bourgogne is, “Superb”. Bourgogne’s professionalism, and levels of expertise are highly commendable. Besides being a joy to work with, she is a take-charge person who is able to present creative, innovative ideas, and likewise communicate the benefits. It is a pleasure working with someone who is so positive and motivated, and who thinks outside of the box. I look forward to our continued professional relationship, and I have no doubt that she will complete any tasks beyond expectations. it is my honor to recommend Bourgogne. She is a team player, and would make a great asset to any organization.”

Kate Byrne

Co-Founder, Strategic Advisor/Mentor, Contributor, Editor and Podcast Host at WomenAdvancing | Venture Capital, Community and Movement

“If you want someone you can count on, who makes you, your project or event better, Bourgogne is the person with whom you should engage. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Bourgogne both while I was at Good Light Capital as well as post that with some work for the International Women’s Think Tank. She is that rare mix of creative and big thinking crossed with actually knowing how to get it done….and then getting it done! She is respectful of her team members who enjoy working both for her and beside her (ok who couldn’t with that smile, great attitude and fun sense of humor – that stays even when times get pressed and tricky!). Highly recommend her and look forward to working more together in the future.”

Let's work together!
